My name is Anna Pentenburg and I am the Market Area Manager for Spherion Staffing. Spherion is a full service staffing agency that provides anything from temporary 1-2 day assignments on up to direct hire executive level positions. Anything from the hard skills required to complete and assignment, to the soft skills needed to be successful. We really take the time to understand what that person is looking for and ideally, get the perfect match that will set them up for success.

Spherion sets themselves apart from other staffing agencies by the level of quality we provide. We prepare our talent by having them go through several rounds of interviews. We complete a phone interview first. We find out what position, or what kinds of positions, they’re looking for. What pay rates? What areas of town? And ultimately, what their goals are. We then bring them in for an in-person interview. They get to know a recruiter one-on-one. That way they can connect on a deeper level. We will assess their hard skills and soft skills. They go over the requirements for the position, talk about timelines, when they can expect to start, and really understand what the position is looking like. How it’s going to help them reach their goals. At that point we interview them with the client, and then the client will decide from there if they would like to move forward.
